Work and environmental safety

We are a member of the Verband der Chemischen Industrie (Chemical Industry Trade Association). In 1999, we joined the RESPONSIBLE CARE initiative and pledged to pursue continuous improvement in the fields of health and environmental protection and work safety on a voluntary basis.

What responsible care means to our company:

  1. Active environmental protection beyond the scope of environmental safety requirements imposed by law.
  2. Responsibility for products, materials and systems within our sphere of influence.
  3. Work and environmental safety measures as part of an integrated work safety concept which provides adequate protection for employees against immediate and long-term health hazards.
  4. System security and precautionary measures designed to minimize or eliminate risks posed by the operation of plants in the chemical industry.
  5. Transport security based on the identification of potential hazards involved in the transport, loading/unloading and storage of chemicals.

We are devoted to developing a climate of trust through open dialogue between our company and our neighbors, customers, consumers and society at large.
